Black and Latinx people only make up about 31% of the population in the Unites States. However, these communities are two of the most affected by HIV:

Latinx and Black people made up 70% of all new HIV cases in 2018.

Black men make up the largest percentage of new infections.

HIV infections in Black women are 4 times higher than Latinx women and 13 times higher than White women.
